Play TAG at CERES!
18 June 2023
TAG is a playful workshop for residents to connect and help prepare our community to be more resilient for climate change.
After the phenomenal success of our first event in Glenroy in 2022, we're thrilled to bring TAG back to Merri-bek.
Get prepared and build resilience in contexts that are realistic for Merri-bek, based on local and global science
Connect with your community and get creative in how you respond to current and future climate challenges
Experience gripping imaginary scenarios where you enact change through real solutions and programs
Meet like-minded people, learn about local programs, and get creative as part of a half-day facilitated workshop
Join us at CERES for an unforgettable experience with TAG!
Details
Location: CERES Environment Park, Van Raay Meeting Room 1
Time: 10am - 2pm
No preparation or special equipment required
Fully catered
How it works
You don't need to be a gamer or "good at games", and the game is cooperative, so there's no winners or losers
You'll be seated with 3 other community members, and 1 facilitator who will guide you every step of the way
After the game, you're welcome to stay for a group debrief, and to connect with other community members working on resilience in Greater Bendigo
The game is aimed at adults, deals with complex topics, and may not hold the attention of younger folks

Become a TAG Facilitator
We're also recruiting community members interested in becoming facilitators of TAG. If you have experience facilitating group discussions at a table, you're well-prepared for this role. We'll teach you the rest.
If you're interested in facilitating TAG, please fill out the same form and express your interest in being a facilitator. We'll send you updates and additional information as it becomes available.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to play a vital role in promoting climate resilience in your community.
